BSL Casting, in operation since spring of 2009, has been founded by an experimented team totalizing more than 60 years of experience in the steel casting business (including 2 metallurgical engineers).

BSL Casting lean toward becoming a north-american leader in manufacturing small dimension steel casting parts by establishing a trustworthy relation with our customers . We will use the great expertise and experience of our staff as an asset to meet our customers’ expectations.

Mission

To make specialized steel casting components of 1000 pounds and less and meet our customers’ requirements on the following levels : Quality, pricing and delivery delay. We will constantly adapt ourselves to the changing needs of our customers in order to distinguish ourselves in our markets.

Our team

Our production team includes some experimented and competent members in the steel and white iron foundry business. BSL Casting wants to ensure your are properly supported and that we efficiently service you in-line with your specific requirements.

 
 

André Langis :  President (Sales & engineering).

André, who graduated 24 years ago as a metallurgical engineer, has worked with a few foundries since then (Unitcast and Norcast – where he was the plant manager in the last 7 years before founding BSL Casting – among other ones) and brings a solid background in manufacturing rugged steel casting parts for various industries. He is our primary technical contact person with our customers and is also in charge of supervising all stages of production.
     
 

Dennis Slater : Production & engineering.

Dennis, who graduated 30 years ago as a metallurgical engineer, has mostly worked during all these years with 2 foundries :  Magotteaux and Norcast (where he was chief-engineer before he quitted to start BSL Casting). Dennis brings a solid background of steel and white iron casting manufacturing to respond to various needs, especially the heat-resistant casting parts. Dennis is in charge of the Quality Control Program to ensure we make the product exactly in-line with our customers’ requirements.
     
 

Henri-Paul Collinge     : Finances.

Henri-Paul is a CMA accountant that has worked for Norcast during almost 2 years and has also helped a few small and medium size businesses to improve their financial performances. He is the guardian of our healthy financial situation.
     
 

Pierre Belley : Sales and administration.

Pierre is in charge of the customer relations as well as  the internal sales development. He is accountable to our customers so we meet or exceed their expectations while working to position BSL Casting in the canadian and north-american market. Pierre has a solid sales and management background over the last 24 years.

Each member of the team is dedicated to produce and supply the best product in the most efficient way so we help you make the difference for your own customers.

Our facility :

We operate a 11 000 square feet plant with annual capacity of 3 000 tons.

Foundry equipment :

We operate 2 induction furnaces : One with 1000 pounds capacity and another one of 3000 pounds capacity.
