BSL Casting specializes in the manufacture of small and medium-sized steel castings. We provide custom castings according to each client's specifications, from parts with a high level of complexity to parts that must meet specific characteristics. Our foundry can also produce prototype parts, supply parts for regular production requirements or respond to emergency orders.

We can advise you on how to optimize the design of your parts or standardize their manufacturing process.


No bake casting process

BSL Casting is distinguished by the use of a no bake casting process. The no bake process is known for its precision and stability, which ensures you get extremely precise results no matter how many parts you need to manufacture.

The alloys that meets your specifications:

Depending on the characteristics of the parts you are looking for and the specifications of your projects, we are able to cast carbon steel alloys (mild steel), low alloy steel, stainless steel and duplex steel.

Our limitations:

  • Round piece: up to a diameter of 48 inches and a height of 12 inches
  • Square and rectangular pieces : up to 44 inches long and 12 inches high
  • Weight : from 1 to 2000 pounds, depending on the dimensions of the parts required

Our categories of alloys:

Carbon steels (mild steel)

Carbon steel consists mainly of carbon (between 0.12 and 2%) and include only a very small amount of other alloying elements.

Low-alloy steel

Carbon steel generally contains less than 10% alloying elements, with no element exceeding 5%.

Stainless steel

Stainless steel is a ferrous alloy that contains more than 50% iron and a minimum of 10.5% chromium.

Duplex steel

From the family of austeno-ferritic steel, duplex steel is a type of stainless steel with a two-phase structure composed of ferrite and austenite.

White cast iron : chrome, Ni-Hard and Ni-Resist casting

White cast irons offer impressive wear resistance, even in extreme thermal conditions. They have a very high hardness (350-750 BHA).
